U-factor : Measures a glazing systems insulating ability. The lower the U-factor, the better the insulating value. Reciprocal will give R-value SHGC: Solar Heat Gain Coefficient. Measures the amount of the sun's heat that passes through the window system. The lower the factor, the more heat is blocked. VT: Visible Transmittance. Measures the amount of light that passes through the window. Higher the number the more light passes through.
Clear Insulated: Our standard glass. Least expensive. Allows most light and heat gain for best solar energy performance.
Good choice for rooms that will be minimally heated or intended use is for "three-seasons".
Low-E Insulated: Excellent value. All around choice for thermal efficiency. Its SHGC properties good for central and Northern climates.
Good balance for wintertime solar heat and summertime cooling.
AC Special: It's good SHGC properties and ability to reflect exterior heat make it a good choice for southern climates where overheating is a concern.
Elite TM3: Top performance with the highest energy efficiency properties. Best All climate for cold and  warm weather.
